This week has been about educating our children on how to reuse grey water to encourage sustainability within our environments.
As we use our dryer sometimes due to weather, we have to make sure that we empty the water tank so that our washing can dry. The children and educators emptied the water into containers and then we carefully took it out into our garden. The children then took turns pouring the water into our garden.
As we were watering our garden the educator and children held discussions about how the water can help our little plants grow. The children were very excited to help our plants and each day they check on their plants to see how they are growing. The children then assisted educators with making sure our washing was completed.
