Our toddlers have explored their chef skills to add, pour and mix ingredients together to make scones! We used our fine motor skills to push the glass through the thick dough to make the perfect scone shape and carefully lifted them on to the tray to be baked in the oven.
We discussed the flour, eggs and other ingredients as we incorporated them into the mixture. We also discussed what foods are “always foods” and which foods are “sometimes foods”
What an amazing experience, we look forward to cooking again.
