Sonas Baldivis South – Reconciliation Week 

This week we have focused on Reconciliation Week at Baldivis South.

Each day we have come together to share our Acknowledgement to the Country.  We have been listening to Indigenous Lullabies throughout our rooms and reading some beautiful books about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.

We have also participated in a variety of different activities throughout our studios, such as painting, play dough and sand tracing. While talking about the meanings of the different symbols and the colours of the Aboriginal flag.

The children have enjoyed the Indigenous Lullabies so much that they have asked to continue listening to them.
