Xander, our new educator/gardening expert said it was time to take our plants up to our plot at the Southern River College Community Garden so some of our school aged children hopped in the bus to help deliver and plant the plants we have been caring for at the centre.

After a quick discussion it was decided that the first job was to remove the old hay and put it into our compost bin, so we rolled our sleeves up and got to work replacing the hay with fresh soil before beginning to plant our beans.

Soon our hard work began to show as we stood back and revelled in the work we put into our new veggie patch.

We will be back next week to measure our plants and add our DIY plants stakes naming our vegetables.
