This summer we have been learning about the importance of sun safety!

Our dearest longest educator for Sonas got diagnosed with Melanoma so we here have been making sure we are sun smart while outside.

We practice each day how to put our own sunscreen on with the help of our educators, we make sure we are sun smart by wearing sun smart hats and appropriate clothing, so we are protected from the sun.  Seeking shade and drinking lots of water is also very important. We make sure we SIP, SLOP, SLAP!

Melanoma Awareness is doing a walk in March!

To show our support for this fierce fight against melanoma, we have created a team for this years “Melanoma March” to be held at McCullum Park, in Victoria Park on 27th March.

If you would like to join our team, then follow the link below.  If you cannot make this date, but you still want to join the team and march to raise funds, then you can choose to “march your own way” by choosing a venue/ date that suits you or set a distance goal for the month of March.
