The last few weeks we have been learning all about the ocean and ways in which we can save pollution from going into our waterways.
Together we created a recycle bin and we went around the centre and found soft plastic to put into the bin, we collected soft plastic from the kitchen such as bread bags and pasta packets and paper towel wrappers from the laundry.
The bin is in the foyer so we can work with our families to place our soft plastics from home too.
We had fun learning about the ocean via a variety of fun hands-on experiences from making playdough and creating our own sea creatures, to messy play with lots of editable ingredients we got to explore through, coloured pasta to create our very own coral ocean to make sure no rubbish was collected around the coral, so the animals are safe.
