Here at Sonas we absolutely love our beautiful outdoor garden and are so lucky to have so many amazing, natural resources within.
Last week after extending on the children’s interests, we set up a simple, yet challenging obstacle course using the big wooden logs that were already in our garden. At first the children were a little wary, holding tight onto their educators’ hands as they navigated up and across the big logs, balancing themselves and scoping out the course.
However, with lots of encouragement it did not take long for the children to gain the confidence to do the obstacle course on their own. Look at them, balancing, climbing and jumping showing off their gross motor skills.
Well done friends. We love the persistence, resilience and confidence you showed us!
