Sonas Wattle Grove – Where did our faces go

Many of our children started the week off a little unsure.

“Where are your faces?” one child asked.
“Where are your smiles?” said another.

Together we had to make sense of this ever-changing world, using recycled materials.  The children were able to create their own face masks to wear.  We discussed how different we look in our masks and listened to our friends muffled voices through their masks.

We recognised that although we look different wearing a mask and we sound different wearing a mask we are still the same friends and are all in this together.
