Sonas Woodbridge – Colour Experiments

At Sonas Woodbridge, Children were invited to participate in a hands-on colour mixing experiment. Cotton pads were placed on trays, and small containers of coloured water were provided alongside droppers. Children used droppers to transfer coloured water onto the cotton pads and observe how the colours spread, blended, and created new colours.

The activity was open-ended, encouraging exploration, experimentation, and discussion about colour changes.

Observation

Children showed curiosity and excitement when using the droppers. They carefully squeezed and released the droppers to collect coloured water and transfer it onto the cotton pads.

We Introduced white paper towels to explore colour walking/rainbow experiments
