Today the educator asked the children to wash their hands as independently as they could before assisting them.
The educator also encouraged the children to put their dishes away after morning tea and wipe their faces to the best of their abilities.
The educator also got the children to use face wipes when needed to also clean their faces and hands. It was great to see the children really trying.
Children are still learning where they can put their fingers and are more likely to get their hands dirty by doing unclean things. Most germs are spread through physical contact.
You can protect children and others from illness by thoroughly washing your hands and teaching them to do the same.
