Painting with water, especially coloured water is one of our favourite activities at Sonas Atwell. The children with the educator worked together mixing and pouring the buckets and trays with the coloured water. Using a range of tools, the children set up to experiment a range of painting techniques. The foot painting was hilarious, with each stomp the children’s vision was to create little speckled dots on the floor.
Throughout the experience the children exercised their artistic skills as they decorated the undercover area. And of course, engaging in playful conversation and co-operation as the children interact and work together, sharing the coloured water, paint brushes and re-filling the paint tray.
What an amazing fun time we all had painting with coloured water.
