Sonas Dayton – Yoga Session with Miss Preetha

Every Thursday the children at Sonas Dayton have the opportunity to participate in a yoga session with Miss Preetha.

They learn new poses each week, work on calming breathing techniques and are able to experience the unique use of sound bowls.

Yoga improves both physical and mental health in children. Yoga also improves balance, strength, memory, attention span, mental resilience, and self-esteem.

Children can also recognise how they are feeling and communicate about their feelings.
