At Sonas Karrinyup, we have an active Worm Farm that the children take care of.
We save our food scrapes from our kitchen and feed our worms once a week. We speak to the children about caring for our worms.
We also get our worms out to watch them wiggly around. The children learn about parts of the worm and how we care for our worms.
The children also learned about different aspects of recycling and sustainability.
