Our Kindy room have been learning about chicken’s and what they eat and what they can’t eat.
Laura our Kindy lead educator has two chickens at home and everyday our children save their food scraps from morning tea, lunch and afternoon for Laura’s chicken Sally and Sprinkles.
This is just one of the ways we are teaching our children about not letting things go to waste.
Laura even brought pictures and a video of Sally and Sprinkles the children all really loved seeing them and seeing where the food was going
