At Sonas we are always experimenting and exploring. In the Pre School room, we were very curious about Volcanos and Earthquakes because we think that’s where dinosaurs live. This Week our educators gave us some very interesting ingredients to make our very own volcanos.
We each got a cup which we could use as the base of our volcano we then used our big muscles to carry some sand, so we could bury our cups so only the top was showing. Then the magic began to happen. We first poured some vinegar into our cup and then chose a coloured dye, Our educators then helped us put some bi-carb into the cup and POOF!! Each one of our volcanos erupted. I wonder what we will discover and explore next week.
