The children at Sonas displayed empathy, care and a sense of belonging by supporting one of their friends who was sporting an injury. The children thought it would be best for us to set up a hospital for Mila.
Mila’s unfortunate event allowed for the children to work collaboratively in pairs and as teams, strategizing and making decisions on injuries and the treatment. The children were trying to bandage themselves just like Mila, so they too could share the experience with her and show their support.
