World Ocean Day was on the 8th June and to incorporate this we set out a discovery sensory tray for the children to explore.
We used the tray to symbolise the ocean and the importance of looking after our oceans and ocean sea life. The children used scoops to clean up the ocean and collect the rubbish to protect the sea life.
Through this experience it allowed conversations about protecting and caring for our Oceans.
