At Sonas Ashby the children have continued to develop a sense of wellbeing through self-serving.
During these routines they develop a sense of understanding of portion sizes to minimise food waste and they also demonstrate an understanding that they have a choice as to what they dish up for themselves.
They learn about healthy eating choices and have engage in discussion about what they have been given to eat throughout the day as they participate in watching and helping making morning tea, afternoon tea and late snack.
