This week the children have been helping with the laundry. They were able to come down to the laundry where we spoke about the difference between the washing machine and dryer.
We discussed how they work and why we don’t use the dryer when it is hot. The children then helped to remove the dry washing from the clothes horse before hanging the wet washing up. They then worked together to take the clean washing back to the room and out it away.
The children loved helping with the washing and felt a great sense of achievement as they told their peers what they had done.
