At Sonas Ashby the children started showing interest in learning basic life skills after one peer asked if she could help with the dishes, and a few others followed.
The educator showed them how to dry the dishes, and they all copied and continued to help with all the dishes. After we were done drying the dishes, we also reset the serving table for afternoon tea.
We continue to use children’s interest and curiosity to create meaningful learning experiences.
