At Sonas Ashby, the children joined their educator in the community room for a number of activities.
The goal of the activity was to identify the numbers at the bottom of the puzzle and place them in the correct sequence from 1 to 5.
Some of the younger children worked to complete the bug puzzle first, then we worked together to identify and count the numbers at the bottom of the puzzle.
During this experience, the children develop number recognition, number sequencing, fine motor, and problem-solving skills.
