This week we have been encouraging our friends to become more aware of their personal space.
We have been encouraging the children to be mindful of their friend’s personal space and how we can still play together without being on top of each other.
The educators encouraged the children to play duck duck goose. The children loved playing this and the educators even got involved. The purpose of duck duck goose was helping our children choose the person who could chase them and come into their personal space.
This has also helped the children become more spatial aware as they play outside with all the children.
The older children are now reminding their friends to be careful of the younger children and to help the younger children have more space to learn.
