The children have shown an interest in dinosaurs and have enjoyed creating small worlds for the dinosaurs to stomp about.

Whilst the children were playing with the dinosaurs, we could hear some discussions about where the dinosaurs come from.

To extend upon this interest of the children, educators and children begun the process of making their own dinosaur eggs. By using salt, flour, ground coffee, sand, and water the children were able to form dough.

The children then helped mix and roll the dough out on the table. Once the dough was formed, we took a little piece and squashed it placing the dinosaur in the middle.

Then the children began rolling the dough until the dinosaur was hidden and into an egg shape. We have placed the eggs in a safe place to dry for a few days before we crack them open.
