At Sonas Atwell we have been utilising our water play activities to support the children’s sensory development and even knowledge of colours.
The children were busy exploring the water and flowers that were in the water tray, smelling the flowers and identifying that “the flowers smell like blackberries!”.
We added food colouring and worked together to add blue and red to make purple water. A simple activity can support such a variety of development!
