The children at Sonas Atwell have been busy exploring emotions.
To support this development the children were given flash cards with different faces and some mirrors in the sand pit.
The children were asked to look at their faces and draw what they see using the sand in the tuft tray. We then asked the children to repeat the process but using the emoticon flash cards.
All children were very enthusiastic, curious and creative. It was wonderful observing how they see the world around them then transfer what they see into finger drawing.
