Science experiments were in full swing at Atwell this week.
We spent time experimenting and building upon the children’s curiosity. Their favourite experience was trying to make balloons rise with gases.
The children gathered around, and we all looked at the different experiments that we could do. The children chose the balloon experiment and supported the educators in gathering all the ingredients they would need.
The children then measured out the ingredients carefully and were amazed as they placed the balloon onto the funnel and watched as it expanded. Educators then carefully supported the children in attempting this and watching as the mixture bubbled up and overflowed the funnel.
