This week at Baldivis South we have extended on our interest in worms that we have found in our gardens. With all the rain we have been getting the worms have been coming to the surface, so what better way to discover than with our very own worm farm.
The children were all so excited to watch the bedding dissolve and expand in the water, we then carefully went through the soil and looked for our worms, before putting them in their new home.
We have been talking about what worms can and cannot eat and how are we going to feed them, everyone is so excited to feed them our veggie scraps after mealtimes. We can’t wait to watch them grow and share their “worm wee” with our local community!
