This week the children of Sonas Bayswater have been exploring animals through many activities.
They sat with me in the STEM room with a basket of animals. We had 4 environments, a farm, house, the wild, and the ocean. The aim of the game was to pick an animal, name the animal, and discuss where that animals home environment is. Once decided, they placed the animal on the correct environment picture.
The children are learning to use vocabulary and conversation to group animals in the correct place, improving their memory, concentration, cognitive development, and their knowledge of animals through shared learning exploration.
