The children at Sonas Bayswater have been engaging in role play with dress-ups, trying on hard hats, vests, and goggles.
They each chose a vest and, with a bit of help, put them on. Everyone had big smiles on their faces while wearing this construction gear, and I said phrases such as “shall we get to work?” “Let’s fix this,” and “don’t forget your hard hat for safety.”
The children showed enthusiasm and excitement during this activity; they swapped dress-ups and took turns trying on the goggles.
The children have demonstrated turn-taking, sharing, cooperation, and communication skills and are further developing their social skills through role play.
