This week at Sonas Bayswater, the children have been using their fine motor skills to manipulate, tinker, and figure out how all the parts in this tray work.

They have examined each piece and used their imagination and creativity to use the loose parts, whether it be to scrunch, peg, magnetise, tap to make sound, or clip various things together.

This activity has worked really well; there was something to interest everyone. The children were taking turns, interacting with one another about their findings, experimenting with each item, and increasing their fine motor abilities through group exploration and fun.
