This afternoon we did some painting.
Jenny asked us to paint our favourite toys. We told her what our favourite toy was and went to work. We thought about what colours we needed and noticed that some of them weren’t there so we had a go at mixing some colours together on the paper to try and get the colour we wanted.
We had a discussion with Jenny about primary and secondary colours while doing this and learned that we need red, yellow, or blue to make any other colour.
This was a great way for us to express our creativity and learn more about how colours are formed.
