Sonas Brabham – Number Recognition and Writing

The children practiced their counting and number recognition.

The educator began the experience by asking the children to count from 1 to 5. When the children were counting, the educator wrote the number that represented the numbers the children were counting.

Once the children reached 5, the children then had their opportunity to replicate the numbers the educator displayed for the children.

This activity promotes the children’s rote counting skills, their pincer grip and their writing skills.
