Here at Coolbellup we celebrated Earth Day with lots of different experiences that helped us to teach the children about respecting and looking after our environment.
In small groups we crowded around and discussed the importance of trees, plants and the different animals. We also discussed what causes harm to our environment and how we can improve and look after it.
After discussing and looking very closely at the different items we had we began to take turns planting our own individual pot plants.
The children are all excited and can’t wait to care for their own plants and watch them grow.
