During outdoor play we joined together to engage in a fun sensory activity.
Ice is such a great sensory tool for children as they are able to explore their sense of touch and play to discover the texture. By adding sand as requested by the children it gave this experience a new dimension and allowed the children to collaborate as a whole to assist in developing social skills, promote imaginative play and encourage creativity.
