Together with our friends from Sonas Huntingdale the school aged children went on their first Sonas excursion to Boola Bardip the new Museum in Perth.

Starting off with our first nations history the children delved into a world of didgeridoos surrounding us with their sounds as we entered the museum with beautiful art works and tools the Aboriginal peoples used for their hunting and gathering of food.

We asked “what did the children do?” only to have our questions answered by a wonderful display of “feeling” dolls that noongars have weaved out of nature to create amazing dolls for the children.
