Do you know the story of The Wonky Donkey? We were surprised to learn that this donkey has a child and a story book “The Dinky Donkey”. As you can imagine, we have read these two favourites over and over, enabling children to become familiar and begin to recite versions of the stories which is great!
We have role played scenes, dressed up as some of the characters, learnt the song and created our very own game of pin the tail of on the donkey which was a popular game for everyone. Hee-haw!
