As part of our celebrations, we came together and have done a group activity of making a banner wishing you all a happy and prosperous new year in Mandarin.
The Luna New Year/Chinese New Year is the year of the Tiger. This Year Tuesday 1st February marks the start of a new year which is the first new moon on the Luna Calendar.
We celebrated The Luna New Year by creating and learning about Tigers, Learning, and listening to colours and counting in mandarin and learning about the colour red which symbolises good fortune, good luck and prosperity.
