Pumpkins are a fabulous part of spring, and they can be used for so many things. From pumpkin soup to pumpkin hammering and carving for Halloween. They are great for keeping everyone busy and entertained, they sure did with us!
We have decided to not let our Pumpkins go to waste and make a lovely bird feeder for our yard. We all took turns at scooping all the pumpkin seeds out. Wow it was hard work, they were very sticky! But it was so much fun.
We them placed our pumpkin seeds onto a piece of baking paper where we are going to wait for them to dry out so we can plant them in our vegetable garden! So many activities using just one pumpkin!
We then got building creating our pumpkin birdfeeder and wow it looks amazing! We then worked together to hang it in the yard for all the pretty birds! So now we wait for our garden feathered friends to visit.
