Sonas Huntingdale -Tiny Hands, Big Discoveries!

The children have enjoyed sack races with a difference – using recycled pillowcases they had decorated themselves!

The Nest children explored a colourful rice sensory tray filled with opportunities for discovery, play, and learning. They used their little hands to scoop and pour the rice, strengthening their fine motor skills and hand–eye coordination. They also pushed cars through the rainbow rice 🚗💨, watching how the grains moved and shifted around — supporting their understanding of cause and effect.

This type of sensory play allows children to explore textures, sounds, and colours in a safe and engaging way. It encourages curiosity, concentration, and early problem-solving while giving them a joyful space to experiment. 💕

Each scoop, pour, and push is not just play — it’s building the foundation for future learning! 🌟
