This week our children explored countries around the world.
Learning about other cultures can help children better understand and appreciate the differences among individuals in terms of their beliefs and practices. This early exposure about cultural diversity can help them better get along with other children because of that better understanding and appreciation.
The children explored countries from above and below the equator and matched what native animals and landmarks belong to each. This led to open discussion about where the children have been on holiday to what country and the different kinds of people, animals and food they experienced.
