The children of Sonas are ever so lucky to be a part of mixed aged grouping. Mixed age grouping allows the children to interact, play and learn with children of all age groups throughout the day at their leisure. This enables the children to scaffold their learning by watching their peers, imitating their actions, challenging themselves and taking a risk to give it a go.
Combining mixed age grouping with a free flow approach enables the children to independently move between indoors and outdoors, where they have the choice of many planned and spontaneous experiences and get to fully embrace our amazing learning studios throughout the entire environment.
