The children at Sonas Midland made feet prints with pink and blue.

We spoke about the different in the size of feet and how some are bigger and smaller then others. We then laminated them and laid them on the floor from the biggest to the smallest.

It was great to see that it doesn’t matter what age you are you could have the smaller feet or larger feet. After we had decided of the order of feet when placed them all on the table with some rulers and the children learnt what a ruler is and what it is used for. We measured our feet with the rulers and looked at the different cms they all were.

This was a great project and the children had many learning opportunities throughout the process. Learning what a ruler is and what it is used for, what are the numbers on the ruler. Looking at the different sizes from something small to something larger and even knowing we are all different but all have feet.
