Today we tried this experiment where you draw something on the plate with a whiteboard marker, then poor water over it, and the picture lifts and moves in the water.

Our children are developing. Cognitive Development: looking at how we can do this better, how can we make it work.

Social and Emotional Development: working together as a team, bouncing ideas off each other to get the same outcome, and Language Development: conversations with each other.

This was so much fun. At first it wasn’t working, but after some trial and error, we found the red whiteboard marker and drawing small stick people was the way to go.

The children even made the stick people dance in the water.
