Today, the children took part in a baking experience, helping to make scones by mixing ingredients together.
The table was prepared with bowls, measuring cups, flour, milk, and butter, and the children eagerly gathered, curious about what we were going to create.
One by one, the children helped pour ingredients into the bowl, carefully scooping flour and measuring milk. As they mixed, they noticed how the ingredients changed in texture. “It’s sticky!” one child said, while another observed how the dry flour slowly turned into soft dough.
The children took turns stirring, using both hands and lots of concentration.
