The children are engaging in different sensory trays filled with a variety of materials mixed with letters and numbers.

The tray included coloured jelly, spaghetti, and coloured sand as well. As the children interacted with the tray, they eagerly explored the different textures. There was a sense of enthusiasm and curiosity as the children engaged in tactile exploration, sharing discoveries with one another.

Reflection:

The variety of textures, like soft jelly, squishy spaghetti, and coloured sand, kept their attention focused while allowing them to experiment with different methods of interacting with the numbers and letters.

The joy and laughter as well as the spontaneous conversation about numbers and letters suggested that the activity was both fun and educational.

Analysis of learning:

By engaging multiple senses, children are able to create stronger opportunities for fine motor development and also get a chance to explore the shape and structure of letters and numbers. Also, these activities help the children to develop cognitive, motor, and social skills.
