Sonas Wanneroo – Our Sunflowers are Growing! 

Last week the children at Sonas Wanneroo have planted some sunflower seeds in the hopes they will grow into some beautiful tall sunflowers.

This week we have been so lucky to see the seedlings from these seeds start to grow. We have had many conversations with the group about what we need to do to care for these flowers, what they may look like and how tall they think they will grow. 

Over the next few weeks as our garden continues to develop our gardening project will develop with art and crafts, measurement and scientific thinking as well as what else we can plant and see grow.

We will continue to recycle our water after meals and at the end of the day to keep the flowers happy healthy and growing!
