This week in the Arts Studio we have been exploring our portraits.
Using the easels the children have taken turns in painting their peers’ facial features, deciding what colours they can see their hair, eyes, lips and skin is and creating their faces through this creative medium.
We love the faces we have created and will continue working on this over the coming weeks. The children involved have spoken with Jess about how we are all different and all the same. We may look, sound, act and think differently but we are all equal human beings, that all belong to the same world. We have spoken about respect and care for one another and that we are the same.
