At Sonas this week we celebrated Australia and all the good things about Australia. Children have used technology to find the story Wombat Stew on the internet, which is full of Australian animals.
After viewing the story, the children used puppets they had found on the internet to role-play the story.
The children then explored the story of The Rainbow Serpent and have made their own rainbow serpent. Children have also looked at different food in Australia.
We have also been practicing our writing skills in the sand and incorporated Aboriginal symbols in there.
