With a splash and a splish the children went about painting fantastic master pieces, using a wonderful array of colours. Prior to demonstrating the artist flare the children engaged in a rich and meaningful conversation about colour mixing with their educators.

“Yellow and blue makes green,” said the Educators, with gasps the children responded, “it’s magic.” The excitement increased with each colour change, and so did the creativity. In addition, the children noticed that the colour got light when it was transferred to the white paper, through discussion the Educator spoke about tints and shades. “Let us see what happens if the children transfer it to dark paper,” wondered the educator. We will have to find out next week to see what happened so stay tune to Sonas Woodbridge.

After they completed their beautiful pieces of artwork the children assisted the educators to display it in their rooms.
