This week the children came to participate in a threading experience that focused on simple “AB” colour patterns.

During this experience, the children demonstrated their concentration skills as they worked diligently on completing the pattern. This experience also supported their hand-eye coordination as they carefully threaded the string through the small holes of the discs.

With minimal guidance, some of the children were able to recognise their chosen colour pattern and repeat it until they had filled the piece of string.

Other children required more guidance and assistance from the educators to complete the task.
